The Backstage Hotel Amsterdam is located close to the Leidseplein on the Leidsegracht (canal) around the corner of the main nightlife scene. Most well known venues and bars are at walking distance. Venues as Paradiso and Melkweg are located at 5 minutes and 1 minute walking distance. Other known venues in the area are The Cave, Bourbon Street, Sugar Factory and “home of the blues” Maloe Melo. The major Amsterdam museums (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh and the Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art are around the corner at the Museumsquare. The Anne Frank House (10 minutes), the Canal District (the BackStage is right in it). The best bars and restaurants and most shopping areas are all very close. By public transport it is very easy to get to the Johan Cruyff Arena (or Arena or Amsterdam Arena), Ziggo Dome, Afas live and many other music venues.
If you like music, you will enjoy the unique music design in the hotel, the room and the hotel bar for sure. In the hotel bar you can pick up a guitar and play (just bring a little talent). If you feel like listening only, you can borrow a record player. You can also ask for a Bluetooth connecting V-soundbox at the front desk and play your own. There is Free Wifi throughout the hotel.
The Backstage Hotel Amsterdam offers rooms for individual guests, couples up to 5 persons. All our rooms have theater mirrors and our unique flight case furniture and decoration. We have a traditional Amsterdam staircase.
Our staff is happy to serve you a big variety of drinks in our unique hotel bar. You can play some pool biljart or guitar at the bar.
In the morning we serve a full continental breakfast buffet for only €9.- We can recommend!
